Well, it's been a while since I started really racing (about 2 years
now). And darn if there's not even one video of some good racing footage
up on the site! Well, that's gotta change! Expect more here within the
next couple of weeks.

Video format's can pretty much all be played using Apple's QuickTime player.
However, the MPEG1's get distorted for some reason (the aspect ratio is all
messed up).
Even for Windows, this seems to be the best player for MPEG4's.
For MPEG1's on Windows, Windows Media Player works well.
My second SCCA school. For the school, we had two cameras
available. This was by far the coolest combination. Video is
of the race after the first half of the driver's school (since
it was a double weekend, there were 2 races). First lap was
my best up to this point (1:21) - but on that lap I found out that
the ECU was reset, and the speed limiter would kick in at 115.
So all other laps I would just hold speed on the straight to
just over 110.

Why you should stay ON-line when being passed.
The "rookie" in the NX2000 does it the right way.
No so lucky with the Miata.
I swear it seemed even closer when I was driving.

The pass for the race lead. :-( ITA CRX goes zoom.
Getting impatient behind a gaggle of Miatas, I try to
go wide to get around one and leave the door open for
the CRX. Stupid, as all I had to do was keep the inside.
And it takes me forever to get around, as I can't outpower them.
I blame Walsh anyway (white Miata)!!! :-)
