This was actually part of the inspection too. The old rotors were under spec, so why get new direct replacements when you have bigger calipers and rotors from a S14 sitting around?
Pics show comparison with my 5 lug rotors, which I didn't use. I was going to drill them for 4 hole, but I killed my drill. So I just bought nice new ones (prolly a much smarter thing anyway). The S13 with ABS uses the same size rotors and calipers as the S14, so I just got a set of ABS 4-lug rotors to use with the S14 calipers.

Rotor comparison. The old rotor is 252mm x 20mm. New rotor is 258mm x 22mm. A small upgrade in rotor size, but a decent one when you consider the price (i.e. free).

Caliper comparison. The CL25VA (the bigger, S14 caliper) has 13% more pad area. Add in the EBC greestuff, and the thing stops very well. With about 150lbs less weight than the S14 (and about 350lbs less in race trim), these brakes should do quite well with Hawk Blues.

To get the bigger calipers on, the backing shields had to be cut a bit. I didn't totally cut them out - they'll be used to hold some brake ducts in the future. All buttoned up with the new rotors. Wow. New rotors look good. A bonus upgrade was the stainless steel brake lines I had on the S14 - they don't work with the 300Z brake upgrade, so they were available for the S13! Unfortunately, I still need to buy a SS set so I have 'em for the rear. However, the extra lines may come in handy.
